Tablet and computer can be used as a dual monitor easily by connecting with TwomonUSB. Now, use TwomonUSB which is simple and fast. Smart device becomes a monitor by connecting it with PC via USB! ※ If you can not use Three finger input touch gestures on htc device,Ĭhange setting to OFF in Settings > Display, gestures & buttons (or Display & buttons). Take advantage of the faster Twomon SE with new drivers. If an app is truly workable, it should not take more than two hours to get it to work.If you are using Windows10 / Android 6.0 or higher PC and device I would recommend not purchasing this or if you want to try it and can't get it to work within two hours, immediately request a refund using the refund button on the Google Play store. I will now wait to see if I hear anything back from their support. I have sent the log of the desktop (how can you get a DEVICE log when you can't get it to work on the device - they would like that log also) and all pertinent information as requested. Whenever I opened anything else, it no longer mirrored the screen nor updated, nor could I do anything with the tablet screen. Next, the tablet mirrored what I had on the laptop screen but only the initial screen. After fighting with the app to get rid of the "splash screen" instructing how to use your fingers on a tablet, I somehow managed to get rid of that. That's why I bought it and that's what it is advertised to do. Windows 10 simply cannot detect the tablet as a second monitor. Further, using Windows 10, the tablet is not found as a second monitor. After following the somewhat sketchy instructions, downloading the driver for the laptop, installing, etc., I found that the app frequently disconnects from the laptop. I purchased it to use with a Samsung Tab A tablet and an HP laptop as a second monitor. *** The tablet which I am using is the Galaxy s5e with Android 11 and One UI 3.1. *** My PC has an NVIDIA GTX 1070 Gaming GPU, combined with an 8th generation Intel Core i5 6 core CPU. All in all, this is a very nice solution for when you want to be productive on your main display, whilst having some entertainment on your tablet. The software on the PC side has a nice UI, and is easy to use and follow, as is the software on the tablet. Combine that with a USB 2 cable, then it would be a nightmare. This could be why a lot of people are having problems, as integrated graphics will struggle, especially if you have older hardware. This is of course if getting less than 60fps constantly is unplayable for you. Settings the performance in the app alongside dropping the resolution still gets the same GPU usage. The GPU usage doesn't scale, meaning, if you lower the resolution displayed on the tablet, the GPU usage still remains high, so I suspect that there could be some tweaking left to do with the PC server. Minecraft with shaders turned on drops the frames from 60+fps to 40+fps. This makes it difficult to recommend for using it as a secondary monitor to watch video on whilst gaming, as it causes your frames to drop significantly, depending on the graphical requirements of the game. The only issue is that it does use a lot of your GPU processing power, with usage sitting at 50%+. Watching YouTube or Netflix this way is also very good. Using it with USB-C, which is USB 3, gives smooth playback, with very little input lag. Installing the software and configuring it on the PC was easy and straight forward. And if this app isn't compatible with huawei phones, it should be clearly displayed in the app information.Įasy to set up, and easy to use. I simply cannot imagine all the trouble I had without success to be a normal thing. Unfortunately, the refund policy of only 2 hours, forced me to give up before I had enough time to try everything. After more than one hour trying my best to make it work, without success, I had to call it done and ask for a refund. Could not make it work on my huawei P30. TL DR: It's perfect so long your device isn't a huawei. No perceptible lag, full control of the desktop by the tablet and perfect for what I wanted. But, with that said, this app is wonderful, IF you have a compatible device. BUT I need to highlight something very important: THIS APP DOES NOT WORK ON HUAWEI DEVICES! And this should be said by the devs themselves at the app page, instead of allowing people to buy the app, waste more than a hour of their time trying to make it work when it simply won't. As it is, I can't give this app any less than a 5 Star Rating. In my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 I've managed to make the app work easy and flawlessly. So, I decided to give this app another try now that I've acquired a new tablet.
